Description Overview:
Enterprise Content Management Services is part of Digitization and Automation and is responsible for developing shared components for the Filenet Shared Service.
Job Description:
He / She will be responsible of designing and delivering quality solutions based on the IBM FileNet products suite to customers
Work as solution architect for IBM FileNet products
Participate in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
Lead and execute all activities of solution design cycle: from customer requirements identification and analysis, product’s component identification and overall solution design, solution implementation effort estimation, statement of work definition and deliverables specification, project schedule and completion criteria definition. Build technical proposal/scope of work while using qualified partners whenever is applicable.
Work with System Architects and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and solutions architecture.
Work with the development teams to resolve issues and deploy fixes.
Adhere to architectural guidelines/standards and delivery discipline processes.
Developing policies for the administrations of User/Group Security.
Working in a SME capacity in understanding the overall Filenet integrated solution and identifying how changes to one component can impact the other.
Developing governance and advisory activities for projects as they are initiated by business requirements, SDLC, statements of work.
applying industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business results and/or minimize risk.
reviewing/providing direction in the formation of development specifications, technical requirements, system performance objectives and identify system modifications required to meet objectives.
leading the development, documentation, communication and execution of a comprehensive strategy, policies and solutions.
providing direction/guidance to the project team in troubleshooting hotspots, aid in assessing impact of software/hardware changes on performance, aid in assessing performance test plans, statistics, measures, remediation, aid in differentiating hotspots that are attributable to vendor-supplied vs. system integrator-supplied code vs. pure hardware, quantification of risks, etc.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Requirements:
Expert-level Java development experience
Possesses a university degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) and/or 7+ years of experience in the IT industry
Certified as an IBM FileNet P8 Platform 4.5+: System Implementation and Administration
Certified as an IBM FileNet BPM 4.5+: Administration
AIIM ECM Practitioner (ECMp) or higher, (desirable)
CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+) (desirable)
Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
The following is required:
Excellent presentation skills to the customer for proposed solution.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work and help the team assess impacts to timelines.
Proven understanding of IBM Software Solutions and their relevance to the customer’s business challenges.
Minimum 3 years of FileNet development experience working with Content Manager and Process Engine in a large Enterprise environment.
3-5 years of experience supporting/upgrading Production systems / applications.
1-3 years of experience using WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ, J2EE and UNIX
1-3 years of experience using Oracle / MSSQL / MS Access databases in a FileNet environment.
5+ years of Java development with J2EE
3+ years for Java development using the IBM Filenet API
The following is highly desirable:
Record Manager - knowledgeable
1 year - Working within a virtual hosting environment
1-3 years - Knowledgeable of firewall, networking, and .NET
Certified as an IBM FileNet Content Manager - Java API programming
Experience working with Windows-based and UNIX-based operating systems
Knowledge of ITIL service management concepts, XML , WSDL, HP QC, QTP, JAVA-based distributed application stack, Pega, and SOAP UI
Experience working with System Integrators (SIs) and/or implementations of Vendor products
