About the position
As a Support Officer you have two responsibilities:
First, you provide primary technical support to Alocet
customers. This means that you
take questions from users concerning the operation of Alocet
software and, in turn,
provide solutions to those questions. Technical support is
provided via telephone, E-mail
and Internet forum.
Second, as a member of our development team, you participate in
the development of
both Alocet's existing products as well as our next generation
of software. Your roles, in
this regard, include documenting user feedback about Alocet
software, identifying viable
changes, implementing those changes and then testing the
pre-released software.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
? Have completed a post-secondary program.
? Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft
Office, the Internet and
Email.
? Posses the ability to learn new tasks.
? Have strong written and oral communication skills.
? Be capable of working both independently and in a team
environment.
? Be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
? Be available for work starting August 1, 2003.
