QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 – 5 years experience
- A+ Certified
- Microsoft certification to MCP with minimum Network Essentials and
Windows XP
- Proficient in Windows 95/NT/2000/XP, MS Office, Internet and various
Mail Systems
- Proficient in PC support with hands-on experience
- Understanding of LAN/WAN networking infrastructure
- Ability to complete hardware repairs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- MCSE, Novell and Banyan certifications are an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide desk side problem resolution
- Provide and/or coordinate training for users on an as needed basis
- Knowledge and understanding in PC hardware and software support
- Answers and logs calls within determined guidelines
- Analyzes and interprets inquiries: provides information, advice or
instructions and assists in problem resolution
- Escalates calls within parameters
- Interfaces with internal departments and outside vendors and acts as
liaison during problem resolution
- Participate in project planning, implementation and documentation
- Contribution of new ideas to continued process improvement
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to correctly interpret and follow work instructions
- Shift work may be required
Position requires THE USE OF A CAR.
