To ensure WMS and SAP are reconciled on a daily basis to allow for 100% inventory accuracy. Also will be responsible for backing up Inventory Team Leader for daily functions. This role will also require the individual to be a SAP Super User and will require training of other associates as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Investigation/processing of shipment confirmation and adjustment errors.
-Resolve daily pick ticket discrepancies, working with Cycle Count Auditor to investigate and analyze root causes and make recommendations to eliminate issues.
-Ensure Customer complaints are addressed within 48 hours of receipt.
-Reconciliation of damage/rework locations in SAP/WMS.
-Performing inventory adjustments as required. Managing all “hold location” requests.
-Maintain short-dated/expired material for all business segments.
-Manage and oversee all aspects of the Returns Goods Process.
-Maintain any changes to the Material Master in WMS.
-Responsible for managing and maintaining the activities of the Returns Goods Associate.
-Responsible for maintaining results from the Cycle Counting Program.
-Responsible for analyzing the root causes of inventory errors found during the Cycle Count process and report to the I/C Team Leader on a monthly basis. Recommend actions and/or changes in procedures to eliminate any future issues.
-Responsible for training on the revised Returns Goods Procedure.
-Work on revising the Notice of Destruction, Customer Complaints and Unmarked/Unauthorized Returns Procedures.
-Work on formal training process for new D.C. Associates.
-Super User for SAP/WMS
-Back-up for Inventory Control Team Leader when required.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
-Secondary School Education Required
-3-4 years experience in an Inventory Control function.
-Working knowledge of SAP and WMS Watchdog, and PC skills required.
-Able to analyze, perform and present root cause analysis.
-Proven ability to map TO BE/AS IS processes.
-Ability to solve problems and offer solutions in accordance to established procedures and policies.
-Ability to create new policies and procedures as required.
-Work experience in leading cross-functional teams and ability to perform training to other associates.
-Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
