Client: Rogers Shared Services (RSS)
RSS is the shared services operational group providing IT development and
support services to the Rogers Group of Companies.
Location: 45 Esna Park Drive
Markham, Ontario
(Woodbine & John)
Accessibility: Serviced by Transit, Parking is abundant and free
Hours: Standard business hours, possibly will be integrated in
oncall rotation
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Requirement:
Individual will be performing network management/monitoring tasks for the
RSS WAN. Will be performing pre-defined tasks related to devices, and
network traffic.
Must have solid operational experience, especially related to core CISCO
routers. UNIX experience (network) would be an asset. Candidate does not
have to have reams of certification, but needs to have extensive knowledge
of core network components. Extremely pro-active, self starter, must be
able to delve into tasks as identified, not sit around waiting to be
instructed on what to do.
Interested in potential CCNA/CCNP as minimum.
