Under the general direction of the Supervisor, Early Learning Centre (ELC), the incumbent will provide a care and education program for children from
infancy to five years of age. Plans and implements developmentally appropriate programs to facilitate learning and developmental goals of children.
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education Diploma / Degree
CPR and First Aid Certificate
Experience working with children from infancy to 5 years of age.
Experience working with parents.
Experience working with special needs children.
Self-motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational skills, patience, self-control, tact, sound judgment, discretion,
sensitivity and a positive outlook.
Hiring subject to criminal reference check.
Infant Program: Term appointment from August 23 to November 12, 2004 with possibility of extension.
Rotating Shifts, 36.25 hour week. Overtime may be required from time to time.
