本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Hi XXXX,
Our client, a large Fortune 100 company located in downtown Toronto is
seeking the following person for a permananet role. Please review the job
description and forward an updated word formatted resume if you feel you
are qualified and interested in this position.
Title: Security & Risk Mgmt Analyst
Location: Toronto
Salary Range: $72-75k base...plus 15% bonus
Note: This is considered a functional manager, not a people manager
position!!!!!
Role is 50% disaster recovery, and the other 50% is comprised of
information security management and response management. The main focus
is disaster recovery, but may encompass more of the role going forward and
the other two areas will take less of a priority if the D.R. piece gets
too large.
In terms of the D.R. piece, this person will manage the business
relationship with a DR consultant we use in Mississauga. A car is
required to travel within the GTA. Overall travel will be expected
between 0 - 20% of the role (local GTA travel -- also may be doing some DR
presentations/awareness/training on a monthly basis which may require
travel to some of our regional offices in Canada, as well as GTA).
Need to have strong documentation skills for DR processes and procedures.
Phase I of Disaster recovery is complete -- basic plan is in place, but
the firm management will decide if additional enhancements are required --
if so, this will expand the D.R.component of the role.
In terms of the Information Security Management piece, the person needs to
work with our Global IT Risk Management group in the USA to look at how we
are handling global security, but will be concerned with Canadian
compliance to this, developing metrics and documentation, assessing any
vulnerabilities.
Candidates should be familiar with the CVE (Common Vulnerability
Encyclopedia) contents. The candidate would also have some project
management experience -- they will be drawn into projects in other areas
of Canada IT for security consultation purposes -- not specifically for
our clients applications in terms of security, but for some of the larger
storage/server types of projects being handled in the Project Management
Office.
In terms of Response Management, this part of the role is intended as
reactive. There is a response management process in place for viruses,
and service disruption, but the process needs to be refined.
This area is where leadership skills will be critical and their abilities
to use our communications applications (Word, Powerpoint) to communicate
to our clients community will be required.
