PROFESSIONAL FACILITATOR RESOURCES
The Professional Facilitator Resources Department is committed
to improving the skills of group leaders and
coaches through dynamic training and publications. We foster
professional development and personal growth
rooted in the experiential Life Skills group model. Located
within the YWCA Toronto continuum of women’s
support services, community leadership and advocacy, we respond
to the evolving needs of facilitators and the
workplace.
Reporting to the Manager of PFR and Community Support Programs,
the Registrar is responsible for
customer service and the registration process for
fee-for-service programs: Life Skills Training, Workshops, &
Publications, and for program marketing and administration in
accordance with the Mission and policies of the
YWCA Toronto.
You will have: 3-5 years directly related work experience;
completion of an undergraduate degree in business
administration, communications, or related field; advanced
computer skills in Windows, Excel, NewsViews,
Internet, spreadsheet and database applications; knowledge of,
and ability to trouble shoot computer hardware
network connections; excellent customer service, verbal and
written communication skills; very strong
organizational skills and detailed-oriented; customer service
and marketing experience required; working
knowledge of French would be an asset.
The hours of work for this position are 35 hours per week. The
salary for this position is $38,793 per annum
(Level 5, pending job classification) plus comprehensive
benefits.
Please note: A police reference check is required by the
successful candidate prior to hiring. The YWCA is a
unionized workplace. Staff are represented by CUPE Local 2189.
This position is within the Bargaining Unit.
