Aimed at stimulating employment, The National Job Fair & Training Expo is held twice a year, in spring and fall. The Fair & Expo creates a multi-sector environment that motivates and develops the job market.
The National Job Fair & Training Expo offers job seekers the tools they need to better manage their careers.
THE EXHIBITORS
Ÿ Over 125 exhibitors are expected to attend.
Ÿ Private and public companies looking for professional and/or technical personnel and students.
Ÿ Employment agencies
Ÿ Public organizations and government services
Ÿ Professional and specialized training centres and colleges
THE VISITORS
Ÿ Approximately 12,000 to 15,000 job seekers are expected to attend.
Ÿ Anyone interested in finding a job, changing careers.
Ÿ or learning about future job trends and job- search techniques.
The National Job Fair is held twice a year, in spring and fall. Its mission is to stimulate employment by producing the most job offers under one roof at one time. As it adapts to the changing conditions of the job market, The National Job Fair will continue to play a major role in the Ontario job market in the years to come.
How to Get There:
By car
From the west:
Take the 401 East to 427 South Follow the Gardiner Expressway and exit at Spadina Avenue and go north For the North Building, proceed farther north on Spadina Avenue to Front Street and turn right.
From the east:
Take the 401 West to the Don Valley Parkway south Follow the Gardiner Expressway to Spadina Avenue and go north For the North Building, proceed farther north on Spadina Avenue to Front Street and turn right.
By train & bus
Union Station, Toronto's main rail station, is a block away from the Convention Centre, and the two are connected by the weather-protected Skywalk. The Bus Terminal is just five minutes away by cab, 10 minutes by public transit.
By public transit
Streetcars, buses, subways and GO trains provide the city with one of North America's safest and most efficient public transit systems.
