I'm recruiting for a SQL DBA that would also like to take on Sys Admin responsibilities for one of Canada’s Fasting Growing companies. SQL DBA is the focus of the role, but you'd also take on Windows Sys Admin responsibilities working with the latest Cloud technologies in a large scale, consumer application environment.

DBA | Sys Admin| Cloud | MS SQL Svr | IIS | 100K users/month | High Growth

Location: Downtown - King and Dufferin

Salary is $65-75K (potentially a bit more) + stock options + benefits + 3 weeks vacation.

Overview:
- One of Canada’s Fastest Growing tech companies, 100K users per month
- Cloud deployment of core platform on SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS, Citrix Xen.
- Broad responsibilities: Database and System Admin of the core application platform + internal IT mgmt.
- Interesting new projects incl. re-architecture of portions of the db/system environment, increase automation & virtualization.
- DBA tasks incl. tuning, monitoring, configuring security, scripts and jobs, backups, etc.


Required Experience:
- 3+ years of SQL DBA exp required.
- Desire to wear multiple hats and research/learn things that you don't know!
- Experience with significant databases (e.g., 100GB+). Theirs is 500GB+.
- Passion to work in a high growth, fast paced company where you’ll make a difference!
- MS SQL Server database administration experience required.
- Windows Server/IIS system administration experience ideal but not required. You can learn this.
