This role is an excellent opportunity to get involved in and drive strategic in GSL. The candidate will gain a detailed understanding of the architecture, technologies and software development lifecycle used at GSL.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be able to contribute to the real-time strategic architecture and build-out of our applications to provide scalable and effective software for our business teams. They will also be able to partner with other project managers and technologists within the global team to both learn from others and to influence the future direction of our platform.
The candidate will build a strong relationship with Operations and Business users to develop a detailed knowledge of Securities Lending and Financing.
Requirements
Required:
3+ years .NET
- C# (web services, windows services, multi threaded, client server, ASP.NET)
3+ years Microsoft SQL Server
3+ years Sybase
Sybase CEP – Event stream process (Coral 8) – Beginner to Intermediate
Business Works - Tibco – Beginner to Intermediate
Able to understand the project goals, scope or ask questions to clearly understand the goal
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to set priorities and to work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently
Autosys - Beginner to Intermediate
Python – Beginner to Intermediate
ETL – Informatica – Beginner to Intermediate
Visual Basic (incl macros) - Beginner to Intermediate
C++/Java - Beginner to Intermediate
Tools such as SVN, Unix scripting, Windows scripting, Perforce - Intermediate
