· Lead Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis activities

· Integrate reliability assessment methods into ADV Plans

· Apply Accelerated Test Methods, and Design of Experiments methods to ADV Plans

· Perform current product assessments (warranty, field reliability, test data, etc.)

· Establish reliability requirements for Technical Specs. And Statement of Requirements

Required Skills/Experience:

· Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint – Intermediate level

· Knowledge with Lotus Notes or other email communication tool – Intermediate level

· Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally

· Strong written and oral communication skills necessary for meetings and presentations

· Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills

· Partners with senior management to analyze and solve issues

· Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently

· Strong Data Acquisition and Monitoring Equipment (DAME) planning activities

· Experience in applying reliability methods and performing Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

· Experience in product testing or analysis

· Strong knowledge of automotive engineering methodology

· Experience in Vehicle Design Process (VDP), Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) process, Failure Mechanisms and Reliability Tools

· Position related experience - 6 years

· Relevant auto industry experience required - Entry level (<1 year)

· Past GM work experience required - Entry level (<1 year)

· Areas of expertise include: Testing, Design, Analysis

Required Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses
