Senior Developer
8+ year’s hands-on software development experience with 5+ years in Java/J2EE/XML. Preference will be given to candidates who have solid experience working on large scale, high volume transaction systems especially financial systems.
Experience with all aspects of the development life cycle and test methodologies.
Extensive knowledge of J2EE and SOA design patterns with practical experience in applying patterns in real world situations.
Core skills should include Java, XML, SOAP, J2EE Compliant Application Servers (Weblogic, JBoss/Tomcat, etc.), Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring) and Distributed Cache (Oracle Coherence)
Hands on GUI development experience using Java and Swingor JavaFX- At least 2 years
Experience with JMS, TIBCO RV messaging services
5+ years working knowledge of Database/SQL
Strong programming/debugging skills
Development experience in Unix/Linux platform
Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Able to work with cross functional teams
Responsible and react on production issues in a timely manner
Candidate must have Equity Finance, Equity Swap or Equity Derivatives product knowledge
Experience with Web Portal programming is a plus
