One of TEKsystems largest clients within the Media Industry is currently in need of a Windows Systems Administrator for an initial 3 month contract within downtown Toronto. This individual will be responsible for the maintenance of a 250 server environment in place of full time resources being moved onto project based functions.
The individual will be responsible for work completed in the primary datacenter as well as a Co-Location located in Brampton, Ontario so access to a vehicle as well as a valid driver’s license is necessary.
The ideal candidate will have administrative experience with the following systems
Required Expertise:
· Domain Controllers (AD/Win 2008) – due to the Domain controller work that may need to be done in the next coming months with PCI and potentially site upgrades
· VMWare VSphere – we have a bunch of servers to virtualize to get prepared before any data center migration should take place
· Exchange 2007/2010 – While I think it is important for Michal/Rob to head up this, it would still benefit for someone else to be able to back fill.
Nice To Have:
· IIS
· Windows Clustering
· IBM hardware
· SharePoint
4 month initial contract
Rate is based on experience
