To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

1. Work with engineers to develop detailed engineering drawings for steel structures and foundations.
2. Perform detail connection design of beams, columns, bracing and other steel members.
3. Prepare final design/construction drawings.
4. Assist the engineer in preparation of material take-offs.
5. Assist in co-ordination of work with other disciplines and project teams.

Education:

1. Minimum 3 year Diploma in Structural Engineering
2. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience:

1. 5+ years of experience of structural steel detailing or structural steel drafting/design.
2. Knowledge in structural steel connections CISC and erection practices.
3. Proficient in use of AutoCAD and Tekla detailing software.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
5. Fluent in English both verbal and written.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Good understanding of Structural Engineering concepts.
8. Accountability for assigned work.
