Job Summary
The Sr. Performance Testing Analyst role is responsible for participating in all aspects of performance testing across the system development lifecycle. From requirements to implementation the Sr. Performance Analyst will work aggressively with other members of the performance testing team to ensure that our application solutions will meet all expected performance requirements, and to mitigate any potential performance issues before applications are implemented.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the performance testing across D+H products
• Adhere to the D+H performance strategy, standards and guidelines
• Aid in the review and development of performance test requirements
• Assist in developing estimates based on project requirements
• Aid in the creation of Test Strategy, Plan and related documents
• Apply technical and programming skills to lead the test script creation effort
• Performing load test execution and result analysis
• Document and report status and results of performance testing activities to project team
• Log software/system defects through defect tracking system and ensure bi-directional traceability between test cases/scripts and defects
• Prevent performance defects and inefficiencies from being released to clients
• Aid in the creation of Test Exit Report
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test procedures, test cases)
• Develop and recommend ongoing improvements to testing assets and best practices
Requirements
• 1-3 years related job experience
• Bachelors Degree or College Diploma in IT or related fields
• Familiarity with any of the following is an asset:
• Loadrunner
• N-tier Application Architecture
• OS Level Virtualization
• Unix/AIX
• J2EE
• Websphere Application Server
• Oracle
