Responsibilities include:
- Working with production, purchasing department, customers and vendors to fill orders effectively
- Working with custom brokers for custom clearance
- Working with shipping lines for tracing and delivery
- Working with local truckers and warehouses for domestic delivery
- Communicate shipping status to customers timely, Interact with internal and external contacts and maintain excellent customer relationship
- Purchase orders and Sales orders preparation and follow-up
- Shipping documents preparation for local, export, import and banking purpose
- Responsible for customs broker, warehouse storage rating and trucking rating negotiation
- Inventory maintenance and inventory control
- Deal with damage, shortage, customer deduction, investigate involved parties and process claims
- Related Billing approval
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 1 year previously Canadian or U.S experience on import & export operation is required
- College Diploma or university degree in logistics, international trade, business accounting, and business administration.
- Advanced Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and general computer proficiency. ERP experience particularly ACCPAC could be beneficial.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English, customer service ethic. Self-motivated, multi-task, able to work under limited supervision and in a fast-paced environment, able to work both individually and as part of a team. Mandarin would be a definite asset.
