There is a lot more you can do in QA. For manual test, besides Test cases, do you know HP QC, clear case and team track? Do you know how to do requirment matrix and version control in QC/Clear Case? Do you know customized report or a query on QC database to display which piece of code or application function has more %age of variances over a period of time?

For Automation Test, besides recording with object spy, how well are you doing in descriptive programming? Do you know how to extract data from webtable for customized need? Do you know how to use your own funtional libraries? Do you know OTA(Open test Architeture) so you can have automation test scripts automatically update QC status in Test Lab?
Do you know how to record QTP scripts over CITRIX?

For Performance Test, it requires more knowledge for a well-rounded QA person. Do you know how to write custom web request in load runner scripts? Do you know how to gather proper parameters from huge size of response data? Do you know how to read raw data results from HP performanc center? Do you know how to read SQL awt report and identify potential bottleneck from SQL execution status? Do you know how to record excel application with web request for SAP application?
