Review new agent License applications, to ensure that each Independent Contractor is in Compliance with Company and Provincial Regulatory requirements.
Communicate with Regulators; send in License application and/or License renewal applications and following up until License is issued.
Ensure all agents have a valid contract and are set up correctly on all compensation systems.
Ensure that Independent Contractors’ benefits are correctly established on systems, amended as required and meet the carrier’s required documentation standards.
Ensure Benefit information is communicated with HR and/or the benefit Carrier.
Maintain Mainframe Files due to Promotions, Demotions, Transfers - requiring evaluation and selection of appropriate Compensation Rates.
Maintain Mainframe Files due to Terminations.
Communicate with Regulators for sponsorship withdrawals.
PC Input & running Programs for HRCs, LOAs on Extended Healthcare.
Communicate with Sales Executives, Regional & Divisional Offices, Regulators, Sales Force and Internal Departments.
Analyze current Bonus programs for all Salaried and Commissioned people.
Set up and Maintain PC worksheets for calculating bonuses, and for all results relating to bonuses.
Design and set up advanced ad hoc PC worksheets and macro run programs for special projects.
Responsible for Geography of Field Structure including maintenance of Corporate and Financial Tables, which feeds data and statistics throughout the Company.
Maintain Field Inventory System, which keeps track of Field Production, as well as a manual tracking system for leads and information notices, providing reports etc.
Trouble shoot, investigate, analyze and review output of mainframe reports including financial reports, as well as policyholder situations and or assignment problems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
2 - 4 years work experience
Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, etc.) with emphasis on advanced skills in “Excel” including advanced “Microsoft Visual Basic” programming knowledge to implement & maintain “Macro’s”
Accurate data entry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong Mathematics background with analytical and problem solving skills
College or University Degree (or equivalent work experience)
