The Technical and Laboratory Services Branch requires an iGaming Testing Lead to deliver system testing, technology review and assessment, and other technology assurance activities with respect to online gaming in Ontario.
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance & Training, you will lead and execute the assessment, planning and testing of iGaming systems to ensure the technical integrity, security and accounting capability of the games of chance. You will develop test methods, procedures, scripts and tools that are tailored to implement a risk-based regulatory testing plan, and lead the AGCO iGaming test team in implementing the plan.
By keeping abreast of best practices across jurisdictions and industries, you will recommend standards, policies and QA procedures to maintain high quality of AGCO testing operations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Honours University degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent technical background combined with 3+ years of related work experience
Expert level technical knowledge of and testing experience with:
o internet-based solutions such as e-commerce or internet banking (IT security protocols and frameworks, databases, programming languages, IT infrastructure and hardware);
o application and network security, payment processing and internet fraud; and
o current internet system security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
Proven ability to test systems used in iGaming (customer account management, funds management, customer relationship management interfaces).
Expert level knowledge of Information Technology General Controls, Software Quality Assurance processes, and software testing practices.
Proven leadership experience to lead, support, coach and mentor testing team.
Knowledge of regulatory environments is an asset to permit informed consideration of risks and decisions, regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
