LOCATION: J.W. Singleton Centre – Information Technology Department
TERM: May 4, 2015 up to and including August 28, 2015
HOURS: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week
PAY RATE: $12.36 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently attending post-secondary school full-time and will be returning to school in the fall preferably in a certificate/diploma program in Business and/or Information Systems
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical with attention to detail
• Proficiency in working with software applications
• Experience in writing software documentation will be considered an asset
DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will work in the Software Systems area of the Information Technology Department.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Generation of school based reports and validation of data
• Creation of data files, data quality checks and reporting of data to Ministry of Education
• Assist in testing of the various Trillium software applications and interfaces
• Assist staff with the updating and creation of end user documentation for our corporate Student Information System application
• Assist in the organization of content published on myHDSB
