枫下家园 / 家用电器 / anyone knows how to adjust or set up receiver/speakers so that you won't hear the noise of your speaker being blown too much when you sing? thanks,I am not talking about the hiss when you get your mic too close to the speakers. My speaker can handle very loud sound playing musice, but for sining karaoke, i noted they are blown so hard and produce a lot of noise.
I found my speakers are blown hard when singing, but it handles the sound very well when I play musice no matter how loud I adjust the receiver volume. How should I set up the receiver or change the setting of receiver/speaker so that they won't be blown and produced unpleasant noise.

if your speaker face your mic, you still have the effect. does not have to be very close. when you play music, you don't use micphone. when you sing, you use mic, and your mic will also pick up the sound from speaker

it won't make any noice even if i put the mic right in front of the speaker while both speaker and mic are on. I am talking about the blow-up by your vocal on the speaker. Sth to do with how I set up the receiver/speaker.it seems the receiver handles the sound/vocal differently so that it doen't send the signal properly to the speakers from the mic, which creates such blow-up effect. And it could damage the speaker.

when you put your mic close to speaker, did you try to talk to mic? I would check amplifier. It may be set up at very high level for either the whold thing or certain frequency bands

Make sure the mic impedance match the impedance of the audio input of you r receiver, The original microphone is the best.

thanks, i will try different ways of connection. I didn't have such problem before I bought another pair of speakers to upgrade to 7.1. maybe I changed some setting accidentally messing up with the signal input.

try to connect your microphone and dvd to a mixer before input to your receiver.
