Case by case. For those holding a CS degree but couldn't land a job $15-20/hr is a big deal for them. Not all jobs are like yours that offers big bucks. Not everyone is as smart as you are. Reality sometimes is brutal.

For any fresh new grad $20hr is not bad at all unless they are unrealistic and oversell themselves. Too often life starts the hard way. I bet that you didn't make $$$/hr when you were just out of school.
